Visa, Pagliacci, Derniere…
Hi there! I hope you are well. This week I have been in Berlin to pick up my Japanese Visa as an entertainer, to perform at a festival in Japan a couple of concerts. The program will be Tosti, Lieder, Japanese songs, arias and duets and a Mexican song. This I will sing together with Akiho. Our friend and director of this festival invited us to take part. I am really looking forward to performing in Japan, in the Kyoto region. Berlin as always was really nice, I went to some of my favourite places after picking up the visa, a very special and nice day.
During the week I had the chance to prepare for the upcoming concerts, going through the music and memorizing some songs. Finally on Friday and Sunday had the last two performances of Pagliacci, I went to Sondershausen on Thursday and spent some time with the colleagues after the last 2 performances and watching some soccer games. Tonight Spain was just crowned as the new world champions winning over Argentina. I had so much fun in this production and made new connections, and it was really special. I am grateful I was able to share this production with very nice colleagues.
Tomorrow morning early, I will take 4 trains, and I hope all of them run in time and I don’t miss any of them, to get to Frankfurt Airport and take my flight to Japan, first to Haneda in Tokyo and then to Itami Osaka. I am really looking forward to going back to Japan. I really like that country and this will be my 8th time there. Every time I go there is slightly different and of course it always depends on my current state of mind but every time I enjoyed so much.
I was able to do my exercise 4 times this week after having a stomach flu. I also keep doing my morning pages and my daily reading. Please take care and see you here next week.
