Onegin, Ulm quick trip…

Hi there, we just came back from Ulm (Germany). Again, taking advantage of the regional ticket for 9 euro a month. It took some time to get there but it was worth it. We went to see Ariadne auf Naxos at the theater. We also visited some friends who sing there. The performance was very good and the production was a beautiful one.

On Friday, I sang Lensky again at the theater and I was very lucky that Jeanette ( Akiho's singing teacher) came to see the performance. She was really glad that she could finally see me and hear me on stage. After the performance we went for a quick drink, and there we talked about it. She gave me very nice comments, as well as a very insightful critic, which I am very grateful for. It was a very nice performance and the audience was really warm.

I took this week to learn the two smalls roles in The Tales of Hoffmann, which are Nathanaël and Spalanzani for our upcoming production. This will be the first one of next season but I will start rehearsals tomorrow morning.

This week I kept reading the life's of the Stoics and also bought a new book of Murakami which I will start reading soon. Take care and until next week.
