KV140 Mozart, Studying, teaching...
Hi there! I hope you are well and that you had a productive week. Mine was very productive as I kept working this week a lot on the repertoire for the upcoming concerts, as well as preparing repertoire for next seaon. As I mentioned last week I started to learn Japanese again slowly and I am really enjoying the learning of this language, although very difficult.
This week I was able again to work with a colleague on his approach on some arias and it is really interesting and I am always glad to help and share my experience and viewpoint.
I also had a small service in a church today and sang the small but nice KV140 by Mozart. I like very much singing in church now and then to keep that repertoire alive, and I genuinely enjoy singing church music and just making nice music with other people. I sing Opera most of my time so it is nice sometimes to sing also another classic repertoire.
I am also preparing for the summer holidays and I have still many things to plan and organize. During this month of July I have 4 concerts and 3 Opera performances left before I go on holiday. So this month will be busy but I am really looking forward to get on with it and finally get some deserved holidays and time with my family.
I hope you are well and I wish you good health, see you here next week.
